About LogHat

LogHat is a flight data intelligence platform built specifically for the ArduPilot and PX4 ecosystem. We exist because post-flight analysis has always been the weakest link in the drone workflow — offline tools, scattered parameter sheets, and no easy way to share what actually happened during a flight.

Why We Exist

Manned aviation has had structured post-flight data review for decades — black boxes, incident reporting frameworks, standardized safety documentation. The drone industry inherited the hardware side of that tradition but not the software side. Mission Planner and QGroundControl are outstanding configuration and planning tools. They stop at the gate, the moment the flight ends.

What happens after that gate — understanding what the EKF did, why the battery sagged, whether the vibration was within tolerance, how to document the flight for a client or a regulator — has historically required either deep manual log parsing or expensive proprietary toolchains. LogHat was built to close that gap: to bring the quality of post-flight analysis that commercial aviation takes for granted to every ArduPilot and PX4 operator, at a cost measured in rupees, not thousands of dollars.

Our Mission

We believe every drone operator — from a weekend FPV builder to a commercial inspection pilot — deserves the same quality of post-flight intelligence that manned aviation has had for decades. LogHat bridges the gap between raw ArduPilot and PX4 sensor data and actionable engineering insight, in a browser, with no installation required.

Who We're Built For

LogHat is designed for the full spectrum of professional and serious drone use:

  • FPV hobbyists and builders who want to understand what their flight controller recorded during a crash or anomaly
  • Commercial inspection and survey operators who need formal documentation for clients and safety audits
  • R&D labs and university UAV programs running iterative test flights and tracking mechanical performance across iterations
  • DGCA-regulated and civil aviation authority-registered operators who need structured flight records
  • Enterprise fleet operators managing multiple drones across distributed field teams

What We Build

  • High-fidelity 3D flight replay synchronized to telemetry parameters
  • Vector AI — a retrieval-augmented AI that answers questions about your specific flight data
  • Automated crash detection and EKF health scoring from .bin and .ulg logs
  • PDF forensic reports you can hand directly to clients or regulators
  • Fleet management for teams operating multiple aircraft

How It Works

Upload a .bin or .ulg file from your flight controller. LogHat parses it in cloud infrastructure, runs the health scoring engine, constructs the 3D replay from GPS and attitude data, generates a ten-section forensic PDF, and loads Vector AI with the full context of your log. The entire pipeline typically completes in under two minutes. No software to install, no parameters to configure.

Our Commitment to Privacy

Your flight logs are sensitive operational data. LogHat never uses your logs to train AI models. Each log is processed in isolated, per-job compute infrastructure — your data is never co-mingled with another operator's data at any processing stage.

Vector AI queries run against your own log's data only. The retrieval context is scoped to your specific flight — no cross-user access is possible by design. Stored logs are access-controlled to your account, and we do not share, sell, or aggregate log data for any purpose. What you upload stays yours.

Roadmap and Feedback

Every release of LogHat is shaped by pilot feedback. The Feature Request tool in your dashboard is the primary input channel — submit ideas, upvote existing requests, and track which ones are in progress. We review submissions before every sprint planning cycle. If you need support for a specific firmware version, a new log format, or a reporting feature your organization requires, that is the place to make it heard.

Get in Touch

We respond to every support request personally. If you have questions about LogHat, want to discuss an enterprise integration, or found a bug — hello@loghat.app.
